Supply side economics – If the economy grows there’ll be more money coming in taxes. Capital investment often means a company can make more money. Simple terms they buy new trucks, machines, equipment, inventory, buildings, etc. Yes the company may even hire more employees from engineers to ditch diggers. Its so hard for some people to get this idea but again its starting again after tax cuts.
Morality – Its only good to have standards of conduct. If people are good fewer laws, police, jails, etc are necessary. I would never consider being any of the following religions: Mormon, Jehovah Witness, Buddhist, Orthodox Jewish, Amish but it would be good to have these people in society. It could be a good thing to have these people influencing our nation. Why, they have values. Removing public expression of religion and evangelizing atheism by the media and government will only ruin our country. It helps our county to remove the Ten Commandments from the courthouse walls? What pool of slim have there people crawled out of. I’d rather be like the fish without legs than the one with it.
What really amazes me is that many Jews are liberal. It make no sense to me the TORAH is the ultimate book of standards but liberals are against absolutes of right and wrong.
It depends on the definition of “Is”. Relativity is for science not the collective conscious of the USA. From the Clintons and then the defense of him, we know liberals have no standards of conduct. Why would some Jews then support the Liberals when they oppose going after terrorist groups that say “first the Saturday people then the Sunday people.” Do we have to wait form them to come after us here.
War is not caused by religion but economics. Religion is just another weapon used in war.
Why do we in America look to Hollywood for our role models? These people divorce more, worship God less, give less to charity and raise themselves above all others like they’re the gods.
When I was very young I once thought there should be limit on how much money people should make. I then realized that I had not yet worked to find my way in the world, risked to invest my hard earned money, or applied myself at much of anything. Rewarding for achievement is natural unless the government stops it.
Opportunity is all any person really needs to succeed. Some people run after success while others sit and complain that it has not dropped in their lap.
Liberals tend to hate the military but the military is what they want in society: somebody telling you when to go to bed and get up, work for low wages in servitude, live in communal dwellings, sit through government indoctrination lectures, and stifled expression of personal viewpoint. I.E. Bootcamp.
Many people after missing out on the freedom that everyone else has had, truly value freedom and individuality.
Many organizations that say they are advocates of one thing are advocates of another:
NOW – Stands only for the rights of some liberal women not women judges that Bush want to support or women that were railroaded like Linda Tripp. They don’t oppose pornography and prostitution that truly degrade womanhood. They discourage breastfeeding that decreases breast cancer.
PETA – Lets rats lose to die on the highway as they are run over by cars. Their activities allow huge fires out west to destroy forests (and all the spotted owls in them) because dead vegetation was not removed. They appose the Dr. Atkins diet that encourages people eating tasty animals rather that the sugar coated gain cereal.
The Left makes no sense at all they advocate a thousand new laws then support trial lawyers to defend all the new criminals but they oppose law enforcement and tough sentencing of the laws that are on the books.
They advocate as much government as possible as long as it not the military, FBI, or CIA.
The left advocates family planning as long as it just includes abortions and social workers but not abstinence or faith based counseling. Lets fix the problem but not prevent them in the first place.
The left advocates the United Nations as a solution to most problems in the world but for 12 years they left terrorism grow in the world until it blew up the world trade center.
Next the UN will try to take over the Internet. The hackers better leave the WTO alone and hack the UN or we’ll all go back to the BBS days at 1200 baud.
